Q.  How long until I can see the dentist after joining and how long does it take to receive my membership card?

A.  Immediately after you sign up you'll receive an email with your ID number for emergency use.  A few days later you'll also receive your plastic membership card in the mail!

Q.  Is this CAREINGTON 500 Series the same as the CAREINGTON POS plan?

A.  NO. While the POS is a great plan, the 500 Series is a much better program. The 500 Series is a substantially better schedule of savings. That is why we offer the 500 Series plan as this gives our clients the best schedule in the market. Also we offer the lowest membership fees available, starting at $11.95 a month!

Q.  Who is included under the family dental plan?

A.  All permanent residents of the members household are included.  When signing up there is an area to enter all the family members names to be included.  Your membership card will list all family members you enter when signing up.

Q.  What is the monthly cost of this plan, and how do I sign up?

Q.  How many times can I use the plan?

A.  You can use the plan over and over again to save on every visit for you and your entire family!  There is no limit on how many times you can use the plan!

Q.  How long has CAREINGTON been in business?

A.  CAREINGTON is one of the oldest and most prestigious dental plans in the country. In 1979, two doctors founded a member network that helped both companies and individuals. They amassed a fraternity of dentists who agreed to charge considerably lower fees to their counterpart patient members . . . and it worked ! !

Q.  Why choose this plan over other dental plans?

A.  CAREINGTON has grown to serve over 6 million members and uses their buying power to negotiate large discounts. Some of the largest corporations in our country have put their trust in CAREINGTON.

Q. How much can I save with this plan?

A.  You can save 20% - 60% with the dental plan and 15% - 45% with the vision plan. The fee schedule applies to General Dentists. Participating specialists will give a 20% discount on all services except implants and "work in progress".

Q.  If I move, can I still use the plan?

A. You can use any of Careington's participating Dentists nationwide without notifying Careington (the new Dentist will call to verify membership).

Q. When will I get a card?

A. You will be emailed a temporary ID card within 3-5 minutes after you apply online. This can be used for emergencies. A Membership packet is mailed to your home address in about 10-15 business days.

Q.  Can I nominate my dentist if they are not in your network?

A.  Of course, a representative will contact your dentist to begin the credentialing process.  Call us to refer your dentist.

Q.  What if I want to change my dentist?

A.  With nearly 66,000 dental providers changing your dentist is as simple as picking one from our extensive network and making an appointment  You can change dentists at any time!

Q.  Do I need a referral to see a specialist?

A.  You can visit any specialist without a referral, simply choose your specialist from nearly 66,000 dental providers and make your appointment.

Q.  Can I just use the plan for orthodontics?

A.  Yes, orthodontics is one of the many reasons people purchase our plan. 

Q.  What is the Careington Dental Plan?  What is the DentaCard Dental Plan?

A.  These plans are Discount Dental plans that offer memberships at an extremely competitive price. Members can save 20-50% on dental visits with nearly 66,000 dental providers!

A.  We have the best rates on the web, you can sign up online or call 1-877-333-6822 to start saving!  Our membership is only $11.95/month or $108.00/year for Careington and includes your entire household from just one person to many!  (please note there is a one time $20 non refundable processing fee at sign up)
